What differentiates Milon is its invention of the memory function that ensures fitness equipment automatically adjusts to a particular user when a smartcard is inserted. The combination of three innovations in small form factor circuitry and housing – smartcard, electronics, and memory function –is unique worldwide.
The Solution
PHYTEC collaborated with Milon early in the development cycle to identify key peripherals to success and thereby remove excess components not needed for its application. Combined with a custom-designed carrier board for both the phyCORE-i.MX35 and phyCPRE-i.MX 6, PHYTEC helped Milon reduce ongoing materials costs and increase margin.
