The phyCORE-OMAP4430 SOM supports the Texas Instruments OMAP4430 processor offering full HD video, an integrated image signal processor, 2D and 3D graphics acceleration, color-rich display support, and best in-class power management technology. In a tiny 1.6 x 2 in. (41 x 51 mm) form factor, the phyCORE-OMAP4430 supports a highly integrated peripheral set featuring USB 2.0 OTG, dual display, dual camera, and HDMI.

The Texas Instruments' OMAP4 family of application processors contain a dual-core power-efficient and high performance ARM® Cortex™-A9 MPCore™ based on a Symmetric Multiprocessing (SMP) architecture. Delivering up to 1.0 GHz of processing power, the OMAP4430 features a PowerVR™ SGX540 graphics core, IVA 3 multimedia accelerator offering full HD 1080p30 2D as well as 720p stereoscopic 3D video encode/decode, and an integrated image signal processor.

phyCORE-OMAP4430 interfaces are routed to our high-density PCB interconnects on the underside of the SOM. Design the mating connectors on your carrier board.
