phyCORE®-AM68x
System integration, scalability and cost savings
Product Overview
The phyCORE®-AM68A is characterized by system integration, scalability and cost savings. The processor combines, among other things, unique deep learning accelerators, vector processing and general-purpose microprocessors as well as an integrated imaging subsystem, making the phyCORE-AM68x/TDA4x an excellent solution for various industrial applications, such as robotics, machine vision, radar, etc. The integration of memory, Ethernet PHY, DSI-to-LVDS converter on the SOM reduces the complexity, scope and cost of product development, while the pinout ensures that all functions of the controller can be accessed.
Features
Advanced Multimedia Capabilities
On chip GPU, dual display, MIPI CSI-2, and audio. Need HDMI? Use a validated PHYTEC reference circuit to add to your system.
Mainline Linux
PHYTEC commits to upstream support of the phyCORE-AM68x System on Module. With support for the TI AM68 processor already available in the Linux kernel, PHYTEC extends this commitment by supporting the SOM in both U-Boot and Linux.
Security
Work with PHYTEC to add Secure Boot to your application. All phyCORE-AM68x SOMs have the ability to burn security keys to the processor and establish root-of-trust by signing software images to ensure only trusted code is run on your device.
