Product Overview

The phyCORE®-AM57x is one of a few solutions in existence that provides the level of integration required for machine learning and real-time applications on a single embedded module. The Texas Instruments AM57x processor series is packed with processing power and includes a dual core applications processor, real-time cores, DSPs, graphics engine, machine learning accelerators, and PRU-ICSS cores. The SOM extends the processors features with memory, connectivity, and power management but remains compact at 55 mm x 45 mm allowing you to bring a powerhouse of computing into your small enclosure.

Features

Application Optimization

With the dual ARM Cortex-A15 cores handling the majority of the systems processing needs, co-processors such as the real-time Cortex-M4 cores, DSPs, and Embedded Vision Engine (EVE) can be tuned for specific application requirements.

Low EMI Design

The phyCORE-AM57x SOM can be deployed in harsh and noisy environments. PHYTEC has designed the SOM keeping low EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) in mind and verifying through pre-compliance and stress testing.

Customization Options

The phyCORE-AM57x SOM utilizes a dual-flash-footprint that allows for population of SLC NAND or eMMC. Choose the best flash for your application and scale the density from 256 MB to 32 GB.

Security

Work with PHYTEC to add Secure Boot to your application. Burn security keys to the processor and establish root-of-trust by signing software images to ensure only trusted code is run on your device.
