Order Processor (Shipping & Receiving)

PHYTEC seeks an Order Processor to join our team in our Bainbridge Island location. Use your attention to detail, organizational, customer service, multi-tasking and logistics skills in our fast-paced, high tech, small office environment.

Functions/Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming shipments from suppliers, including international shipments from parent company in Germany, contract manufacturer in China, as well as other sources
  • Process customer orders (sales confirmations, invoicing, credit card processing and requesting credit limit increases) using QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
  • Prepare orders for shipping (kitting orders, packing, shipping waybills, any needed export documentation)
  • Physically package and ship product to customers using UPS WorldShip and other courier services / shipping software
  • Serve as a primary receptionist link in company phone chain
  • Provide order status and tracking information to customers
  • Assist with maintaining product inventory, perform twice yearly inventory counts with Account Manager
  • Ensure orderliness of stock room and shipping supplies, order shipping supplies
  • Assist with additional supply chain and administrative duties, as necessary

Qualifications

  • Two or four-year degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field; work experience accepted in lieu of education
  • Experience using QuickBooks or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Experience with collaboration tools (i.e. JIRA and Confluence)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Supply chain / order processing / customer service experience
  • Familiarity with technical products a plus

Hours

Full-time position – 40 hours/week: Monday through Friday 8:00 am — 5:00 pm (flexible)
