The industrial phyCORE-i.MX 6UL is based on the NXP i.MX 6UltraLite processor. PHYTECs lowest power SOM to date, with power consumption under 50mW in idle mode, is well suited energy-efficient and compact applications such as HMI, control systems, and IoT. The SOM has been designed with solder contacts around the outside for easy integration and reduced system cost.

The i.MX 6UL Processor Family

The NXP i.MX 6UL Series expands the i.MX 6 Series by adding a high performance but ultra low power embedded processor which is based on ARM® Cortex™-A7 technology. Along with providing standard IO the i.MX6 UL applications processor also includes an integrated power management module.

The Interconnect

phyCORE-i.MX6UL interfaces are routed to solder contacts around the outside edge of the PCB. The SOM can be directly soldered to your carrier board.

To evaluate the phyCORE-i.MX6UL SOM it is directly soldered to a PHYTEC Carrier Board that provides the I/O connectors as well as any other interface circuitry not provided on the phyCORE module itself.
