The phyBOARD-i.MX7 Single Board Computer

The phyBOARD-i.MX7 Zeta SBC is a two-PCB counterpart to the phyCORE-i.MX7 SOM. The SOM itself serves as the CPU core of the SBC. The SBC is formed by interfacing the SOM to a second Carrier Board PCB via high density connectors. The Carrier Board breaks out major interface signals to plug-and-play or pin-level connectors within a PCB size of 105 x 72 mm.

The combination of SOM and Carrier Board yields an SBC that, like the stand-alone SOM, is designed for integration into end user applications. The SBC also provides an immediate development platform to accelerate product development and can be used as a reference design for creation of full custom target hardware designs into which the SOM can be deployed.

Expandability

Signals from the i.MX 7 extend to the phyBOARD expansion bus connectors. SBC customization is made easy by plug-and-play expansion modules.
